Disclaimer

We have compiled the information on this website to the best of our knowledge and belief. However, we cannot guarantee the correctness, accuracy, up-to-dateness and completeness of the content. Detailed privacy policy of the sahee foundation

sahee foundation respects your privacy

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data and the security of all personal data are important to us. This data protection declaration informs you which of your data we process, what we need this data for and how you can object to data processing.
We collect, process and store personal data (incl. IP addresses) only in accordance with the statutory provisions or if you have given us your consent to do so.

What personal data do we collect?

We only collect personal data that is related to our relationship with you. The data we collect includes, in particular, your contact details such as name, telephone number, address or e-mail address as well as other details, especially in connection with a funding application as well as the use of our website. In contrast, information that cannot be linked to your identity (e.g. statistical information on the number of users of our online service) is not considered personal data.

How do we collect personal data?

As a rule, we collect personal data in the following cases: When you make a donation to us or apply for funding from our foundation; when you visit our website; when you communicate directly with us; when you register for a sahee event; when you participate in a survey; or when you provide us with your personal data for other reasons. In all cases, we will only process your personal data for the purpose that is specific and identifiable to you.

Do we pass on your personal data?

We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if we are legally entitled to do so or if you have given us your consent to do so. If data is disclosed abroad, we ensure that we comply with the relevant legal requirements (guarantee of adequate protection).
External service providers who process data on our behalf are strictly bound by contract within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act. We have ensured that the external service providers are able to guarantee data security. They may only transfer the processing of personal data to a third party with our prior approval.

How long do we store your personal data?

As a matter of principle, we do not delete your data. After the end of an active relationship, we do not process it further or pass it on. If you wish your data to be deleted, please let us know. In exceptional cases, e.g. due to legal retention periods, we are obliged to keep documents such as contracts and invoices for a period of 10 years.

What data is processed when using the sahee website?

In principle, you can visit our internet pages without having to provide any personal information. When you visit our website, our servers temporarily save each access in a log file. The following technical data is recorded and stored by us until automatic deletion after seven months at the latest:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Internet page from which the access was made, if applicable with the search word used
  • Name and URL of the file accessed
  • search queries carried out
  • the operating system of your computer (provided by the user agent)
  • the browser you are using (provided by the user agent)
  • device type in the case of access by mobile phones
  • transmission protocol used

The collection and processing of this data is used for system security and stability and for error and performance analysis as well as for internal statistical purposes and enables us to optimise our Internet offering. The IP address is also used to preset the language of the website. Finally, we use cookies and applications and tools based on the use of cookies when you visit our website. You will find more details on this in the following chapter.

What are cookies and when are they used?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit our website. If you call up the page again, your browser sends the content of the cookies back to us and thus enables recognition of the end device. The reading of cookies enables us to optimally design our website for you and to make it easier for you to use.
If you decide not to accept cookies, you can deactivate and delete all cookies in your browser at any time. Please refer to the help functions of your browser for more information. However, deactivating cookies may mean that certain functions of our website are no longer available to you. If you use a different browser or end device, you will have to deactivate or delete them again.
You can also manage and deactivate the use of cookies by third-party providers via the following website: youronlinechoices.com. This website is not operated by us, so we are not responsible and have no influence on its content and availability.

How are tracking tools used?

We need statistical information about the use of our online offer (especially website and newsletter) in order to make it more user-friendly, to measure reach and to conduct market research. For this purpose, we use web analysis tools, in particular Google Analytics. The usage profiles created by these tools with the help of analysis cookies are not merged with personal data. The tools either do not use users' IP addresses at all or truncate them immediately after collection.
In addition to the data listed above (see "What data is processed when you use our websites?"), this provides us with the following information:

  • Navigation path that a visitor takes on the website
  • the length of time spent on the website or sub-page
  • The sub-page on which the visitor leaves the website
  • Country, region or city from which access is made
  • terminal device (type, version, colour depth, resolution, width and height of the browser window)
  • Returning or new visitor

The information is used to evaluate the use of the website. If you would like to deactivate Google Analytics, you can find the appropriate browser add-on at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. As explained in the previous chapter, you can prevent the creation of usage profiles altogether by generally deactivating the use of cookies.

Social Media

On our website you will find links or plug-ins to various social networks (such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). You can recognise the links by the respective logo of the provider. Clicking on the links opens the corresponding social media pages to which this data protection declaration does not apply. For details of the provisions applicable there, please refer to the corresponding data protection statements on the websites of the individual providers.
No personal information is transmitted to the respective providers before the corresponding link or plug-in is called up. Your access to the linked page is also the basis for the data processing by the respective providers. We have no influence on the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing and the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of data by the plug-in providers.

Google Fonts and Font Awesome

This website uses fonts from Google and Fonticons for a uniform and appealing presentation. In order for these to be displayed, your browser fetches them from the corresponding external servers and transmits the same usage data as if you had clicked on a link. Google itself assures that this data is only used for technical operations and is not linked to your Google account data https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq. Fonticons also pays close attention to data protection and has set up an extra contact address for the EU and Switzerland https://fontawesome.com/privacy.

What rights do you have with regard to your personal data?

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • You can request information about your stored personal data.
  • You can request that your personal data be corrected, supplemented, blocked or deleted.
  • If you have given us permission to process your data, you can revoke this permission at any time with effect for the future.
A letter by post or e-mail is sufficient to exercise your rights. See section “Contact”.

Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data stored with us against manipulation, partial or complete loss and against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Amendment of this privacy statement

We reserve the right to amend and supplement this statement at any time at our sole discretion and in accordance with data protection legislation. Please consult this statement regularly.
